The Atrium was acquired for the purpose of creating a co-living development providing apartments to rent complemented by on-site amenities including a gym, co-working spaces, a cafe and a convenience store.

the brief

The Atrium is a conversion of an office building on the outskirts of Milton Keynes. It is being developed under permitted development rights into a scheme of 174 apartments set around a central courtyard.

design philosophy

A selection of small apartments is clustered round a central landscaped courtyard. The design brief was to create modern and sleek apartment layouts with a selection of high quality materials.

the development

The Atrium offers a range of apartment accommodation suitable for the rental market. The units are being offered for rent on both long-term and short-term lets. The scheme includes a fitness centre, a garden, and a lift with plans to incorporate additional amenities including a convenience store and co-working spaces. The development is being sold to an owner / operator with the sale currently scheduled to complete in Q3 2021.
